In Sweden, named this bird Skäggdopping (Podiceps cristatus). Have no idea about the English name. I think it's a very handsome bird. The picture was taken in Lake Hornborga . One of Sweden's best bird lakes.
Great shot and interesting bird. We definitely don't have those in my part of the world.

His (of her) English name is a great crested grebe, in Holland we call it a 'fuut'! They are colourful waterbirds and look very naughty with those straightup feathers on her head!
